The Noble, The Dancer, The Lover

Born to Akagi and Misago in [UNKNOWN] prefecture within the eastern lands of [UNKNOWN] Natsumi did not spend much time in her home. Not too long after her birth, a great flood threatened the land and Akagi and Misago were forced to take desperate measures. Pleading to a powerful Kami of their home village, they were given respite as their daughter along with her caretaker were whisked away to a far away and safe land. Thus the little child.. Whisked across the vast expanse found herself nestled in the middle of the forest protected by the final act of the great winged Kami cast.. A lone father enchanted to protect the baby till she was found.Soon enough, the little baby was found by her soon to be adopted mother, Uto, Kōshaku of the Oshidari family. Through her younger years, she was tended to by the Rean’s servants as well as Uto herself from time to time, however as she got older Uto took a much more firm part of the little girl's life. She began training her to follow in the stead of the rest of the family, guiding her to becoming a Kunoichi so she could serve just as Uto and the rest of her ancestors had. Unfortunately for the Kōshaku Natsumi did not have the talent nor physical capability of doing so. Her aether was -far- too thin, her body was frail and weak and as she grew older the stresses of even noble life were clearly taking a toll on the girl's body.Over time, Natsumi started to break away from the traditions of her family, and instead pursued a life of business, and study. She found methods to aid herself with her body’s ailment, changing her diet, drinking various potions made by alchemists who she studied to embolden herself to at least be able to stand on her own. Once she was well and on her feet she ran headfirst into her studies, seeking out every teacher she could find across Bukyo to learn all that she could.This included a rather unexpected source, that of a Thavnarian dancer who had made her home in Bukyo. She had found the young noblewoman as she was fleeing from a rather -pushy- suitor and guided the Rean into her nightclub. It was there that she saw a potential in Natsumi, and invited her over to help her further her physical training. It was there that Natsumi learned by night how to dance, and not just to entertain those around her, but also use this dance as a form of magic, an art that she still uses to this day.Seeing the younger woman's ravenous appetite for knowledge, Uto called in an old favor and brought an older Sharlayan scholar to come help with the younger girl's education. It was here that Natsumi learned about magic, and began training how to control her very weak aetherial pool. She studied history, business, politics, trade, economics, and much much more through those years.Eventually when she had finished her education, as the time was coming for her to follow traditions and be wed, Natsumi decided to forge her -own- path. She began rebuffing all efforts to take her hand in marriage..and instead focused all of her energy on business. It started small, finding a tea-shop in Bukyo that was about to go under, and coming to offer the owner aid. She took her time, helping the man rebuild his business from the ground up with her support, and quickly it became a very successful operation that spread beyond the capitols walls. She repeated this process, finding businesses on the verge of collapse, using her knowledge and resources to help rebuild and reshape their operations.Natsumi was considered -strange- by noble standards. She treated the commoners with respect and dignity, and she was not compelled by greed like many others were. Though she was sweeping up these businesses she never ran out the old owners. She made it her mission to help those who were in need, going so far as to start a set of training grounds in Bukyo to bring in those who had nothing else to give them a second chance to thrive within Hingashi by teaching various trades, and sharing knowledge she had gathered across her teenage years.Her life however, had its biggest change when she met her soon to be wife, Aisleita Ahldrysswn, a Viera woman far removed from Hingan life. They meet in Sharlayan of all places, and through a string of events.. The two fell in love and Natsumi's life has forever been changed. Her marriage has caused a minor uproar back home, and there have been calls that the Reans influence amongst Hingashi be reduced, yet the popularity the woman maintains amongst the commoners prevents drastic action from happening, let alone the various alliances she has made with other noble families and prominent businessmen over her expansion.For now.. Natsumi knows peace, and a new life outside of Hingashi side by side with her wife as she continues her expansion. Her eyes now set on Eorzea as her next place of expansion, or perhaps find a new walk of life to live.
